Congratulations to Casey Flight '10, the inaugural DSGL/DSHS Youth Mentoring scholarship in honor of the contribution she has made to youth lacrosse. She has helped coach games and pre-season practice and she will be missed as she heads off to Middlebury to play lacrosse!
Casey is one of several DSHS players who are alumni of DS Girls Lacrosse. Some of these players now help develop our youth players by assisting in practices and games. A big thank you to our following helpers:

We strongly encourage our youth players to watch these high school girls and their teammates play in their games. The rules are basically the same with slight differences for checking and crease violations. By watching, our girls will have a better understanding of:
the positions and field position
cradling and stick work
cutting and offensive skills
individual and team defensive skills
the goalie's involvement in the game
